1:00pm Your guide will meet everyone at the subway station Line 1, “Tiananmen East Station” Exit D (outside). Also you can reach here by taxi. Show the taxi driver “请带我去天安门东地铁站D口”. We suggest the subway is more easier and efficient than the taxi in this area.
After entering the Meridian Gate, you will be inside the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is divided into six main parts: The Front Court ,The Rear Court ,The East Palaces, The West Palaces, The Outer East Palaces and Outer West Palaces. These six main area covering the administrative area, residential area for emperor, empress, concubines, emperor dowagers, exhibition rooms and treasure gallery. We will selected the most essential palaces and exhibition to visit.
