8:00Pick up in the hotel lobby and drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (about 2 hours drive).

10:00-12:30 Enjoy your Great Wall hiking. Mutianyu Great Wall was built some 1400 years ago in the Northern Qi Dynasty and later rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty in the 16th century. Along this section's 2250-meter span, 22 battlements were built at regular intervals. It is connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east (about 2.5 hours).

12:30-13:30 After hiking the Great Wall, you will have lunch at the nearby local Chinese restaurant.  We can help you replace the Chinese meal with the Subway sandwich and drinks near the Great Wall if you prefer the Western style.  Then drive to the Hongluo Temple (20km, about 30 mins drive).

14:00-15:30 Visit the Hongluo Temple. Hongluo Temple was initially built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). It is one of Buddhism's birthplaces and the biggest temple in Northern China. There is also a famous saying, "if you are seeking a happy marriage and won't have children, praying in the Hongluo Temple can make your wish come true ." There are superb views of the ancient Imperial Bamboo Forest, over 1100 years old Duo Ginkgoes, and the Wonder of Wisterias Wreathing Pine called the "Three Matchless Sceneries in Hongluo Temple".

17:00 Arrived at the hotel and ended a wonderful day.
