Mutianyu Great Wall is located in the Huairou district, about 70km northeast of Beijing. Originally it was built some 1400 years ago in the Northern Qi Dynasty and later rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty in the 16th century. Here the mountains are densely covered by verdant plants and trees. With vegetation, green pines, and cypresses covering 90 percent of the area, the scenery here is beautiful all year round. This schedule and time are flexible, and you can choose to do it in the morning or afternoon.

Day 1Private Great Wall Hiking Tour
8:30 Pick up in the hotel lobby and drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (about 2 hours drive).
10:30-14:00 Enjoy your Great Wall hiking. Along Mutianyu Great Wall’s 2250-meter span, 22 battlements were built at regular intervals. It is connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. There is quite a long-distance mountain road（about 45 mins walk) leading to the Great Wall, and you can choose either a cable car up and down or take the chair lift and toboggan slide down to enjoy more time on the wall. After hiking the Great Wall, your guide will suggest a good local restaurant of your preference, and you will pay on your own.
16:00 Back to the hotel and ended a wonderful day.
